Known for its virtues, argan is used in many cosmetic products for skin and hair care. Its benefits have been recognized for centuries in the Maghreb however this oil is almost unknown in Switzerland. Fortunately, the founder of Marokko Argan discovered it in Morocco and introduced it to the Swiss market through his products.
It all began throughout his holidays, when he returned to his homeland with his family. During his stay, he tried the traditional Moroccan Hammam and the famous massage with argan oil. He was then conquered by the sublime feeling of well-being he felt after this massage. And that was the source of the inspiration; he made sure to bring cosmetic argan oil to Switzerland in order to better learn about its virtues. He then got back to Morocco to learn more about the extraction process and how the oil is produced. This was a real opportunity to get in touch with local suppliers and to discover more products based on argan oil.

After this trip the new brand Marokko Argan was born, and it is today the main importer and producer of cosmetics based on argan oil in Switzerland.

Through his products, the founder presents a small part of his native country, Morocco, to his host country, Switzerland. These products are even respectful of the standards and allow to fully enjoy the benefits of argan oil. The shampoo makes hair shinier and healthier and it also helps prevent hair loss. Moreover, as this oil is naturally rich in omega-6 fatty acids, tocopherols and vitamin E, the use of the shower gel helps to moisturize the skin and to protect it from skin conditions such as eczema.
